What is Meta Tag Studio for?
Every web page contains, in its invisible part (the <head>), tags that tell Google and social networks
the page title, its summary, its share image, whether it should be indexed… They decide how your link looks in Google results
or when someone shares it on Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp.
Meta Tag Studio asks you the right questions and generates all these tags live, with a preview of your Google result and your share card, an SEO score and tips to improve it. All that's left is to copy the code into your site.
Who is it for?
Online sellers
Show price, stock and star ratings right in Google.
Local businesses
Restaurant, salon, tradesperson: address, opening hours and service area.
Bloggers
Articles people want to click, on Google and on social media.
Developers
A complete, valid <head> in minutes.
SEO consultants
Audit, compare with competitors and deliver clean tags.
Beginners
No need to know HTML: the tool explains every field.
The steps, one by one
Project identification
Enter your page address (canonical URL), the language and the author. The canonical URL tells Google which address is the "official" one for the page, which avoids duplicates.
Page content
The title (ideally 30 to 60 characters) and the description (70 to 155 characters) are what Google displays. The counter turns green when the length is right, and the Google preview on the right updates as you type.
Social sharing
Choose the share image (recommended size 1200 × 630 px, in JPG, PNG or WebP), its alt text and the site name. The share card on the right shows how it looks on Facebook, LinkedIn or X.
Indexing and robots
By default, the page is indexed and Google may show large snippets and large images: that's the right setting in most cases.
Only tick "nosnippet" if you really don't want a snippet (the page would then no longer appear in Google's AI answers).
If your site exists in several languages, turn on hreflang and list one line per language: en | https://mysite.example/en.
Structured data (JSON-LD)
Fill in your business identity (name, logo, phone, address, social profiles). Google uses it to understand who you are. Then tick the type or types that match your page (see below).
llms.txt and AI optimisation
The llms.txt file is a small map of your site for AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity…). Write one sentence that sums up your site
and list your important pages, one per line: https://mysite.example/pricing | Our pricing. The "abstract" summary and the "speakable" selectors
help assistants quote the right passages of your page.
Technical files and verification (optional)
In the "Technical files and verification" section: list the other pages of your site for the sitemap.xml (one per line, /contact is enough),
enter the folders to hide from search engines in the robots.txt (for example /admin/) and, if you wish, opt out of AI training on your pages.
Also paste the verification code from Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools: the tag is added automatically.
Add a security contact to generate the security.txt file.
Structured data: what are the 14 types for?
Three entities are always included: WebSite, Organization and WebPage. You add the ones that describe your page:
| Type | For which page | What Google can show |
|---|---|---|
| LocalBusiness | Shop, restaurant, tradesperson | Address, opening hours, price range |
| Product | Product page | Price, availability, stars |
| Review | Customer reviews | Average star rating |
| FAQ | Frequently asked questions | Expandable questions under the link |
| Article | Blog post, news | Date, author, image |
| Event | Concert, trade fair, workshop | Date, venue, ticket price |
| HowTo, Recipe | Tutorial, recipe | Steps, time, ingredients |
| Course, JobPosting | Training course, job offer | Provider, contract type |
| SoftwareApplication, VideoObject | App, video | Price, rating, thumbnail |
| Person, BreadcrumbList | "About" page, breadcrumbs | Profile, navigation path |
The SEO score
The score out of 100 is the average of 5 axes: basic tags, social sharing, structured data, Googlebot extraction and indexing. Under the preview, the "Checks" list tells you exactly what to fix (title too long, missing image, canonical URL with tracking parameters…). Aim for at least 75: the circle then turns green.
Installing the tags on your site
- Click "📋 All" above the generated code.
- Paste the code into the
<head>of your page, replacing the old tags (title, description…) so you don't have them twice. - On WordPress, Wix or Shopify, use your theme's "custom code / header" area, or ask your developer.
- Publish, then check with the links in the "Check after publishing" section (Google Rich Results Test, Facebook debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector).
llms.txt, sitemap.xml and robots.txt at the root of your site (next to your home page). The analysis tabs
- 📊 Analysis: 30-point technical checklist, Core Web Vitals estimate, security audit and AMP validation.
- 🎯 Competitors: add a competitor's address; their page is read and scored on the same 5 axes as yours, with a comparison radar.
- 📈 Rankings: record the Google position of your keywords over time and track how they change.
- 📉 Analytics: import the CSV export from Google Search Console to see your pages and queries, and run a title A/B test.
- 📅 Calendar: plan the content you'll publish.
- 🚀 Sync Deploy: configuration files ready for Netlify, Vercel, Apache (.htaccess), Nginx and Firebase (security, HTTPS, compression, caching).
You can also import an existing page ("🔍 URL" button: the tool reads the page and pre-fills the form) or a public GitHub repository.
AI (optional) (Pro)
The whole tool works without AI. If you like, the AI can write for you:
- Title and description: 3 suggestions of the right length, applied in one click.
- FAQ: 6 questions and answers added to the structured data.
- Share image alt text, for accessibility.
- llms.txt summary and AI summary of the page.
- Keywords people actually search for.
- SEO review: what works, the 5 priority actions and an improved title.
- Competitor: how to outrank a competing page (button on the competitor card).
- A/B test: a variant B of the title and description (Analytics tab).
- In the "⚡ AI assistant" panel, choose your provider: Agnes, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Mistral, Groq, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or any other OpenAI-compatible service.
- Create an API key on that provider's website (the link appears under the list; several offer free access, such as Agnes, Groq or Gemini).
- Paste your key, click "🔌 Test" then "💾 Save". You can also enter a specific model; otherwise a fast, inexpensive model is used.
Exports
- Full ZIP: index.html with all the tags, llms.txt, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, security.txt (if you entered a security contact), an installation README and the hosting configurations.
- HTML only or JSON-LD only.
- Project JSON: a backup to re-import later, or on another computer.
- Share link: to show your setup to a colleague logged in to Yok-Kod.
Where are my projects saved?
Your projects are saved in your browser, not on our servers. Our servers only build the tags from what you type, without keeping anything. The history ("🕐 History" button) keeps the last 20 versions so you can go back.
Discovery or Pro?
The discovery version gives you the whole tool and all its exports; exported documents (HTML, PDF, Markdown, pictures) carry a small “Made with Yok-Kod” line, data files (CSV, JSON, ICS) never do. Pro removes that line and adds the AI assistant, the 12 templates and up to 50 projects.

Common issues
- Why isn't the code updating?
- The code updates a quarter of a second after your last keystroke. If it stays frozen, check your Internet connection and reload the page.
- Why does the share image say "unreachable"?
- The image address is wrong, or the site hosting it blocks it from being shown elsewhere. Open the address in a new tab to check.
- Why do Facebook or LinkedIn still show the old image?
- They keep a cache: run your address through the Facebook debugger or the LinkedIn Post Inspector (links in "Check after publishing") to force an update.
- Why does importing a URL fail?
- The page must be public (no password). Some sites block automated reads: in that case use the "📋 Paste the HTML" tab (Ctrl+U on the page, copy everything, paste).
- What does "Too many requests, please wait a minute" mean?
- You typed for a very long time without a pause: wait a few seconds and the preview will resume on its own.
- Why can't I find my project any more?
- Make sure you're using the same computer, the same browser and the same account.
