What is Business Plan for?
A business plan tells the story of your project from A to Z: the problem you solve, your market, your offer, how you sell, your team and your numbers over 3 years. It's the document asked for by banks, investors, incubators and start-up loan schemes.
You fill in a guided form in 8 sections. The Yok-Kod engine calculates your market size, the profitability of each customer, your 36-month financial projections (including your hires) and your bank ratios, then writes an analysis of your strengths and weaknesses. You get a structured business plan, ready to export or present.
Who is it for?
Startups
For a funding round, an incubator, a competition or a public funding application.
Business founders
To get a bank loan or a start-up loan and structure your project.
Business buyers
To present a takeover project and its prospects.
Consultants & business advisors
To produce a business plan for each client (up to 20).
Students
For a school project, a thesis or a competition.
Non-profits
To present a structured project to funders.
Before you start
You don't need to know everything: only the name, the industry and the first month's revenue are required. But the more you fill in, the more complete the business plan. The completion bar shows you what's missing.
The 8 sections, one by one
🏢 Company overview
Name, industry, legal form, stage (idea, prototype, MVP, launched, growth), location, mission and vision. The stage adjusts the starting revenue level.
🎯 Problem & Solution
The problem your customers face (with a figure if possible), your solution, what makes you different, and your SWOT (one idea per line in each box: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats).
🎪 Market & Competition
How many potential customers, at what price, how many times a year: the tool works out your TAM, SAM and SOM. Score Porter's 5 forces from 1 (weak) to 5 (strong) and add your main competitors.
🚀 Product & Offer
Description of your product or service, roadmap, price positioning and intellectual property (trademark, patent, know-how).
📣 Marketing & Sales
Your strategy, your acquisition channels, your funnel (impressions → leads → customers, with conversion rates calculated), your marketing budget and your launch plan.
💰 Business model
Your revenue streams and your unit economics: average basket, purchase frequency, customer lifetime, margin, customer acquisition cost (CAC) and churn.
👥 Organisation & Team
The founders (role, background) and the planned hires (position, start month, salary): they are automatically added to the costs in the projections.
📊 3-year financial forecast
First month's revenue and growth, costs, investments and funding (equity, loan, grants). Then click "🚀 Generate the Business Plan".

In the discovery version, the preview shows about a third of the document: the first 4 tabs (summary, market, SWOT & Porter, unit economics) are complete; the other 6 show their title and a locked preview. The “4 of 10 sections visible” counter under the tabs reminds you.

AI (optional) (Pro)
Without AI, the tool calculates everything and already writes an automatic analysis. With AI, you get a full review written as if by an investor: executive summary, strengths, points to watch, strategic and financial analysis, risks, recommendations and verdict.
- In the AI panel, choose your provider: Agnes, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Mistral, Groq, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or any other OpenAI-compatible service. Create an API key on that provider's website (several offer free access, such as Agnes, Groq or Gemini). You can also choose the model; otherwise a fast, inexpensive model is used.
- In the "⚡ AI analysis" block, paste your key, click "🔌 Test" then "💾 Save", and tick "Turn on AI".
- Generate the business plan, or click "🔄 Regenerate with AI" in the Analysis tab.
Where are my business plans saved?
To protect your project's confidentiality, your business plans are saved in your browser, not on our servers. Our servers only do the calculations, without keeping anything. Find them with "📁 My saved BPs".

Tips for a convincing business plan
- Start with the problem, with a concrete figure. If readers don't feel the problem, they won't care about the solution.
- Stay realistic about the market: an overly ambitious SOM undermines the whole file.
- Watch the LTV/CAC: below 3, your model costs too much to grow.
- Check the cash flow: it should never go negative. If it does, plan more funding.
- Be honest about your weaknesses in the SWOT: investors prefer a clear-sighted founder.
- Back up your assumptions: studies, quotes, first customers, letters of intent.
Common issues
- Why is the "Generate" button greyed out?
- The project name, the industry and the first month's revenue must be filled in. The button tells you what's missing.
- What does "Discovery version limit reached" mean?
- You've generated 3 business plans today. Come back tomorrow, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited use.
- Why did my values change when I chose an industry?
- The industry pre-fills typical values (margins, CAC, growth, payment terms). Edit them afterwards, or undo with Ctrl+Z.
- Why didn't the results change after I edited the form?
- Click "Generate the Business Plan" again: the results are recalculated on each generation.
- Why does my cash flow go negative?
- Your funding doesn't cover the start-up phase. Increase equity, the loan or opening cash, postpone hires or cut costs.
- Why can't I find my business plan any more?
- Make sure you're using the same computer, the same browser and the same account. Business plans don't sync between devices.
- Why won't the export download?
- Allow downloads for yok-kod.com in your browser, temporarily turn off any ad blocker, then try again.
