Social Media Manager Studio

Everything you need to know to run a client's social media: editorial line, calendar, figures, responsiveness, and a clear review to send them every month.

What is Social Media Manager Studio for?

Running a brand's social media means juggling an editorial line, a calendar, statistics scattered across 7 platforms, an inbox to keep up with, advertising, partnerships and a client waiting for their review. Social Media Manager Studio brings it all together, client by client.

You get a score on 6 axes, the key formulas calculated (engagement rate, CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, influence cost…), a comparison with your industry benchmarks, prioritised recommendations, a calendar generator that follows your pillars and slots, and a branded client report.

ℹ️ The tool does not connect to any social media account and does not post anything for you: you enter your figures (taken from each platform's statistics) and export your calendar to your scheduling tool (Buffer, Hootsuite) or your calendar app.

And with Content Planner?

The two tools work together. Content Planner gives you a month of written posts (hooks, captions, hashtags) for an industry and a goal. Social Media Manager Studio is for running things over time: tracking each client's figures, keeping the rhythm and response times, comparing with competitors and delivering the monthly review.

A common workflow: prepare the month's ideas with Content Planner, paste them (or import them as CSV) into the Social Media Manager Studio calendar, then track the results and send the report to your client.

The steps, one by one

1

Discover the tool with the demo

🎁 Demo button (at the top): every section fills in with a fictitious ceramics brand. Browse the tabs to see what you will get, then create your first client (+ New button) or clear the demo.

2

Set the strategy

Section 1: brand name, industry (it sets the benchmarks), tone of voice, editorial line, active platforms, target rhythm and follower goal. Section 2: up to 3 personas. Section 3: the content pillars and their share (“Suggest pillars for my industry” button to get started). Section 6: your hashtag sets.

3

Fill in the calendar

Section 7: your best slots per platform. Section 4: write your posts, paste them from a spreadsheet, import a CSV (Pro), or click ⚡ Generate post ideas. The 📅 Calendar tab shows them by month, by week or as a list.

4

Enter the figures for the period

Section 13: followers, reach, impressions, engagement rate, clicks and conversions for each platform, plus the previous period for the changes. Then, as needed: inbox (9), top posts (14), advertising (15), influence (12), competitors (16). No section is mandatory.

5

Read the dashboard and send the report

The dashboard updates with every entry: alerts, key indicators, followers over time, upcoming posts, recommendations, goals and industry benchmarks. Section 18: prepare the client report (logo, colour, sections, texts). The 📋 Report tab shows the exact result; with Pro, print it to PDF or download it.

💡 Keep one client per project: the Duplicate button copies everything to start the next month, you only need to update the figures.

The calendar and the generator

Each post fits on one line: date | time | platform | pillar | format | status | text | hashtags | CTA. The status is draft, scheduled or published. Dates accept the 2026-11-03 or 11/03/2026 (month/day/year) formats.

The generator places post ideas on your slots (or starter slots if you have not entered any), following:

  • the target rhythm (section 1) and the active platforms, used in turn;
  • the share of each pillar (section 3);
  • your constraints (section 7): avoid weekends, maximum posts per day, minimum gap between two posts;
  • the recommended format per platform (carousel, video, pin…), a call to action and hashtags taken from your sets.

The ideas are draft starting points, using your industry's vocabulary: write and approve them before scheduling. The discovery version generates 1 week at a time; Pro up to 4 weeks, and the AI can write the full texts.

Where to find your figures?

DataWhere to find it
Instagram and FacebookMeta Business Suite → Insights (reach, interactions, followers), or the Insights tab of the app
TikTokBusiness account → Creator tools → Analytics
LinkedInCompany page → Analytics (followers, impressions, engagement rate)
YouTubeYouTube Studio → Analytics
X and PinterestAccount analytics
AdvertisingMeta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pinterest Ads, Google Ads (YouTube)
Best slotsThe audience statistics of each platform (hours when your followers are online)

Each platform calculates the engagement rate its own way: enter the one it shows. The tool's average rate is weighted by each platform's reach.

The 6-axis score

The overall score (out of 100) is the average of the rated axes:

  • Growth: change in followers, reach compared with the number of followers, follower goal reached.
  • Engagement: engagement rate compared with your industry, its change, interactions per follower.
  • Consistency: posts per week compared with your target rhythm, share of planned posts actually published, coverage of platforms and pillars.
  • Responsiveness: response time compared with your target, share of unanswered messages, share of negative reviews.
  • Paid: ROAS and CTR compared with your industry, conversion tracking.
  • Editorial: pillars defined (100% in total), personas, hashtags, media library, editorial line.

Each criterion only counts if the data is filled in: an axis with no data shows “n/a” (not rated) and does not lower the average.

The calculated formulas

FormulaCalculationHow to read it
Average engagement rateΣ (reach × rate) ÷ Σ reachCompared with your industry's range
Follower growth(current − previous) ÷ previous5% or more over a month: very good
Reach / followersPeriod reach ÷ followersAbove 1: your content reaches beyond your community
CPM, CPC, CTR, CPASpend ÷ impressions × 1,000, spend ÷ clicks, clicks ÷ impressions, spend ÷ conversionsCost and efficiency of advertising
ROASAttributed revenue ÷ spendCompared with your industry benchmark; below 1, advertising loses money
Influence costBudget ÷ expected reach × 1,000, budget ÷ expected conversionsTo compare with your advertising CPM and CPA

Industry benchmarks (engagement rate, posts per week, response time, CTR, ROAS) are indicative: they vary with the platform, the audience size and the type of content.

Crisis mode

The 🚨 Crisis mode button opens a quick-reference sheet: alert level (negative reviews compared with your threshold, section 17), 5-step protocol with your spokesperson and your reaction time, checklist, watched keywords and 3 reply templates (acknowledgement, update, closing) to fill in and copy. It is available in the discovery version.

The client report

The report includes the sections ticked in section 18: score, overview, growth by platform, engagement and inbox, top posts, upcoming posts, advertising, campaigns and influence, competitor watch, recommendations, goals, conclusion and appendix. It carries your client's name, logo and colour, with no mention of Yok-Kod in Pro (in the discovery version, its exports carry a “Discovery version” watermark). The ✍️ Write … with the AI button (Pro) suggests the introduction, conclusion and next steps based on the figures.

⚠️ The report only shows the figures you entered. Check them before sending: the tool cannot verify their accuracy.

AI (optional, Pro)

✨ AI tab: paste your provider's key (Agnes, OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, Groq, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter…). Quick actions: audit, 30-day editorial plan, ready-to-publish posts, recommendations, platform prioritisation, 30 / 60 / 90-day plan, competitor analysis, report review. In the data entry: calendar written by the AI (section 4), hashtags (section 6), report texts (section 18). And a chat about your figures.

🔒 Your key stays in your browser. The AI only receives the data of the open client, with the instruction never to invent figures, testimonials or partnerships.

Exports

The client report (PDF, HTML, Markdown and ZIP) is open to everyone; in the discovery version it carries a “Discovery version · Made with Yok-Kod” watermark (at the end of the report and at the bottom of each printed page) and the ZIP only holds the report. Pro removes the watermark. Data and integration exports (ICS calendar, Buffer, Hootsuite, CSV, Airtable, Notion, JSON) are for Pro.

FormatUse
PDF, HTML, MarkdownThe client report
ICS calendar (Pro)Dated posts in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook
Buffer (Pro)Upcoming posts, one CSV file per network (Text, Image URL, Tags, Posting Time columns), to import channel by channel
Hootsuite (Pro)Bulk import: date and time (rounded to 5 minutes, at least 20 minutes ahead), message; 350 posts maximum per file
Calendar CSV, Airtable, Notion (Pro)The calendar for a spreadsheet, an Airtable base or a Notion page with checkboxes
Full CSV, JSON (Pro), ZIPAll the data, the client backup, or everything in one (report, plus calendar and data with Pro)

Where is my data?

Your clients are saved in your browser (local storage), on the computer you use. Nothing is kept on our servers: calculations are done on the fly and then forgotten. Remember to export each client to JSON regularly (Pro) to back it up or open it on another computer. The 🕐 History button keeps the latest versions.

Common issues

An axis of the score shows “n/a”.
It is not rated yet for lack of data. For example, the Responsiveness axis needs the response time, the messages received or the negative reviews (section 9).
A post does not appear in the calendar.
Check its date (2026-11-03 or 11/03/2026) and the | separator. Posts without a valid date stay in the list but not in the grid.
The generator says a platform is missing.
Tick at least one active platform in section 1.
The Buffer or Hootsuite export is empty.
Only posts dated in the future and not yet published are exported (at least 20 minutes ahead for Hootsuite).
The logo does not appear in the report.
The address must start with https:// and point directly to an image (.png, .jpg, .svg).
The AI replies “invalid key”.
Check that the chosen provider matches your key, then test it again. Free keys are limited to a few requests per minute.
I can't find my client any more.
Check that you are using the same computer, the same browser and the same account.
